More irony, this is how they steal books, legally! Book slicing, and the first sale doctrine. Funniest part, they use a mechanical slicer, and probably manual labor to do it (cut and then feed into the scanning machine). They need the humans, an elegant pair of scissors, and a scanner. And they have the nerve to complain about the Chinese stealing IP:
