Things I Did Today

Here are today’s things:

* I shorted the indices:

 $SPY at $743.26

 $QQQ at $718.08

* Covered some SPY at $741.18 and $716.57 (I didn’t report this one promptly!)

* Shorted $GRNY at $27.18 and $JOET at $44.66.

* Added to $VRNO long at $1.135.

* Shorted $GS at $1,053.42 and $MS at $215.02

Position: Long VRNO (S); Short SPY (S), QQQ (S), GRNY (S), JOET (S), GS (VS), MS (VS)

Going Less Small on Shorts

I have moved from very small to small-sized index shorts just now:

* SPY ($SPY) $744.68

* QQQ ($QQQ) $719.44

Back Shorting the Indices

With S&P futures up by +53 handles I am back shorting the indices:

* $SPY  $743.00

* $QQQ $714.95

Position: Short SPY (VS), QQQ (VS)

Moving From Large to Medium-Sized

With S&P futures -73 handles (following large declines in reporting companies CrowdStrike ($CRWD) and Broadcom ($AVGO) I am covering some of my shorts from yesterday and this morning:

* $SPY $752.18

* $QQQ $741.69

From last night and during Tuesday’s regular trading session:

At 4:55 PM Tuesday I added to index shorts:

QQQ $746.92

First Time in a Long Time

In one of the first times in a long time, I am adding to my short index position on weakness:

* $SPY $755.35
* $QQQ $744.58

Adding the Index Shorts

With the sizable rally in the Nasdaq to positive I have added to my index shorts:

* ($SPY) $756.75
* ($QQQ)  $746.52

Back Shorting the Indexes

With S&P futures down by only -5 handles (they were -33 at the lows last night when I was covering), I am back shorting the indices:

* $SPY $757.99
* $QQQ $742.47
