From the Fed’s Barkin (Non-Voter)

* Jobs data was very consistent with a sector in weak balance; Job data is low hire, low fire;

* This data doesn’t ‘feel very good,’ but it is where it is

* We’re in a zero-to-modest positive job gain environment

* Watching corporate earnings for linkage to the job market; Earnings are quite strong and are growing quite nicely

*  We may be moving into a world of greater instability

* Fed will get inflation to 2% target

*  It’s no surprise that Fed Chair Warsh has new ideas for the Fed; He’s thoughtfully engaging
