ISM Services Cools, But 12-Month Average Rises for 10th Straight Month
ISM’s services index eased to 54.5 in October, a 28th month of expansion, as all 10 indexes were in expansion, hiring grew for a second month and backlogs rose to the highest since July 2022, but ISM warned ‘more pricing pressure is on the way.’
