Our Small-Cap Defense Name Surges After $70 Million Update

We had waited for this one to show some life. Ondas Inc ($ONDS) rallied 11.5% on Tuesday and is up again this (Wednesday) morning. There is some news.

The firm announced that it had secured as much as $70 million in new orders over the past four weeks across its defense, security and autonomous technology platforms. These orders include unmanned ground systems, border security/reconnaissance technology, protection/defense technologies, counter-unmanned aircraft (drone) systems, intelligence, surveillance and autonomous precision-strike capabilities. The orders include a recently announced $6.9 million order for Ondas C-UAS systems by the armed forces of Australia.

SoFi Technologies ($SOFI) is set to release the firm’s second quarter financial results after the closing bell on Wednesday, July 29. Wall Street is looking for a GAAP EPS of $0.11 on revenue of $1.12 billion. This would compare to the year-ago EPS print of $0.09 on year-over-year sales growth of 30.4%.
